Dr. Hedge joined the RU Faculty in December 2019 after several years of teaching as Adjunct Faculty in the undergraduate BSN program. She brings over 26 years of nursing experience in many areas primarily focused on pediatric care. She graduated in 2008 from Vanderbilt University with her MSN and Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has been providing clinical care to children with diabetes. Her interests in pediatric care include diabetes, pediatric obesity, and child abuse/neglect. In 2022, she received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Radford University School of Nursing.
