Dr. Samantha Steidle

For nearly 10 years, Dr. Steidle, has served as an entrepreneurship and marketing professor at Virginia's Community Colleges. You may recognize her work as a co-creator of the Business Lounge, Grandin CoLab and the RAMP tech and life-science accelerator, an initiative supported by Virginia Western Community College, the City of Roanoke, and the Roanoke-Blacksburg Technology Council. She's also worked with deans and department heads across Radford University's campus for online marketing of the graduate programs and completed the strategic plan for Radford's Venture Lab in 2020. She's served as a consultant for the National Association of Community College Entrepreneurship (NACCE) educating entrepreneurship educators across the nation for best practices in the field. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Radford University, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, and a PhD in Community College Leadership from Old Dominion University. Her dissertation focused largely on how entrepreneurial programs could address wicked problems of sustainability (SDGs) and the role of community colleges in addressing these complex issues.
