Jessica earned her Master's in Nursing Education from Jefferson College of Health Sciences in 2010. Her 16+ year career has focused on Women and Children, holding positions as a RN in obstetrical units, the Neonatal Intensive Care, and an outpatient OB clinic as a Care Coordinator for pregnant women with substance use disorders. Jessica currently maintains working several times a month as a RN on a local obstetrical unit to keep current on nursing skills and the latest evidence based practices for her specialty. She worked as adjunct clinical faculty with Radford University from 2011-2020 before coming on as full-time faculty in the Fall of 2020. Outside of nursing, she loves the outdoors and summer, spending time with her family, and nurturing her many plants.
