Ms. Amy Beachy

Ms. Beachy started her academic journey at the University of Virginia graduating with a BSN in 1999. She spent many years working in Intensive Care Units. Here she first learned she loved teaching through hospital based courses and worked as an adjunct for a local campus. Her career path led her into school nursing and then PACU nursing. In 2021, Ms. Beachy obtained her MSN from The University of North Carolina, Charlotte. Then moving her family to New Hampshire, Ms. Beachy followed an opportunity to be a Nurse Educator for Perioperative Services at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital. As her love for education and curriculum design grew, she moved into the realm of academia here at Radford University, Roanoke. Ms. Beachy currently teaches in the undergraduate and ABSN programs.
